Bruce Grant
Proprietor
Bruce has been involved in the family business of Brands Garage since 1978 when he worked alongside his brother Iain, father Ken and mother Terry. In 1997, Bruce and Iain took over the reins and now run the oldest established garage in Felixstowe together. Bruce has a special interest in classic cars and is involved in classic motorsport.
Mike Saunders
Vehicle Technician
Mike is an experienced vehicle technician with a strong background in automotive diagnostics, repair, and customer care. He began his career working with Ford, where he spent several years honing his technical expertise and developing a deep understanding of modern vehicle systems. His time with the brand shaped his meticulous approach to workmanship and his commitment to keeping every vehicle performing at its best.
Outside the workshop, Mike is driven by a genuine passion for all things automotive. When he’s not under the bonnet, you’ll usually find him exploring his other interests, discovering new music, watching great films, or getting hands‑on with cars in his spare time.
Chris Catchpole
Vehicle Technician & HGV MOT Specialist
Chris is a skilled vehicle technician with a strong focus on MOT testing for HGVs. Known for his precision and thorough approach, he ensures every vehicle meets the highest safety and compliance standards. His expertise and attention to detail make him a trusted member of the Brands team. When he’s not carrying out inspections, Chris enjoys spending time in the garden. Whether he’s growing something new or simply enjoying the outdoors, gardening gives him the same sense of satisfaction he brings to his work.
Richard Battle
Vehicle Technician
Richard joined the Brands team in October 2019. Richard is very much a dedicated family man and football enthusiast, and regardless of the grief he gets from the rest of the team, Richard is an avid Arsenal supporter!
Tallulah Rushby
Apprentice Technician - Level 3
Tallulah is a dedicated Level 3 apprentice who brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a growing technical skillset to the Brands workshop. She’s committed to developing her expertise and takes pride in learning from every challenge that comes her way.
When she’s not training in the workshop, Tallulah loves spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, or heading to the gym to stay active.
